Meet Dr. Malan

Dr. Malan was born and raised in Fresno, CA.  He attained his bachelors degree in Health Science from CSU Fresno in 1998 and was admitted to the University of Pacific dental school that same year.  Following his graduation from dental school in 2001, Dr. Malan returned home to continue the tradition of care established by his father and grandfather.  In 2002 he took over his father’s dental practice, and in 2007 built a new office and moved the practice to its’ current location in Clovis.

Dr. Malan comes from a long tradition of local dentists.  Both his father and grandfather practiced dentistry for many decades, serving nearly their entire careers here in the Fresno and Clovis areas.  Dr. Malan’s older brother was a practicing orthodontist in Fresno as well.  With a cousin and 3 nephews who are all practicing dentists, it’s easy to see that dentistry is part of the Malan way of life.While every dentist maintains a certain philosophy for dental care, Dr. Malan believes in providing quality care at an affordable price.  “I want my patients to not only trust my clinical skills as a dentist, but to know that the treatment I recommend is accurate and takes into account their individual needs and desires.”

Dr. Malan has been married to his wife for 28 years and together they have enjoyed raising their 5 children here in Clovis. When not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Malan enjoys hiking and fishing in the high country, golfing, coaching his kids, serving in his church, watching Fresno State sports, and being the best husband and father he can be.
